What’s new

What we have added for creators, newest first. Each one links to where you can read more.

  1. Early sign-ups close to your first mailing pay when they join

Someone who joins in the month before your first mailing’s last day to join is now charged when they join, the same as after you have mailed. Sign-ups earlier than that still pay nothing until that last day.

    When early sign-ups pay

  2. Let subscribers know when AI helped

If AI made a meaningful part of what you send, an optional box on your club page says so in a plain line near what comes in the envelope. You can add a few words of your own.

    How the AI line works

  3. Choose how your club looks in search

Write one line saying what arrives, and it becomes your page’s title in Google, with your price and posting day after it while you’re open. Your studio shows a preview, and a short checklist helps people find you.

What your club page does for you

  4. Limit your members, and keep a waitlist

Set a limit in your studio and your page closes by itself when the club is full. A full club can offer a waitlist: people confirm by email and hear when a spot opens. You can show “3 spots left” on your page too.

How limits and the waitlist work

  5. Updates by email

Write to your members, and to followers who signed up on your page and confirmed by email. Send a short note before each mailing, with no tracking and nothing extra to pay.

    How updates by email work

  6. Tiers

Sell more than one tier, each its own monthly plan with its own price and description. Your studio counts how many of each tier you are sending and prints labels and envelopes one tier at a time.

    How tiers work

  7. More labels and envelopes to print

Print address labels on Avery 5160, 5162 or 5163, return-address labels on 5167, and envelopes in seven sizes plus the address side of a 4×6 postcard, straight from your studio.

    What you can print

  8. Sign-ups before your first mailing

People can join before your first mailing and pay nothing that day. Their first payment is taken on your last day to join, just before you post, and checkout tells them the date.

    How early sign-ups work

  9. Apply online, and set up in your studio

Starting a club is now an application that takes about five minutes. Once it is approved, a short checklist in your studio walks you through the rest.

  10. Jennifer’s guide to starting a club

“Start Your Own Snail Mail Club”, Jennifer Ashford’s guide from your first idea to your first mailing, is on sale on goodpostco.com.

  11. A page for your club, hosted by us

Your club gets its own page with your logo, colours, photos and words, your plans and prices, and a way to join. No website of your own needed.

  12. “Your mail is on its way” emails

Turn on an email that tells each subscriber their mail is on its way as soon as you record the month as sent. Gift buyers can get one too.
