Guide Licence and Terms

Version 2026-10-22. Effective 22 October 2026.

These terms cover buying a copy of Start Your Own Snail Mail Club, the guide by Jennifer D. Ashford, from Good Post Co. They are the licence you agree to when you tick the box before paying, and they are short on purpose.

Who you are buying from

You are buying from Sendero Origen, LLC d/b/a Good Post Co, an Oklahoma limited liability company, at 3126 S Boulevard St #154, Edmond, OK 73013. We publish the guide and sell it, we take your payment, we work out and collect any sales tax, and we handle refunds. You can reach us any time at support@goodpostco.com.

Jennifer D. Ashford receives a share of this guide's sales and will share in Good Post Co's profits. Good Post Co publishes this guide and is one of the platforms discussed in it. We would rather you knew that before you buy than found it out afterwards.

On your card statement the charge reads **GOODPOST* GUIDE**.

What you are buying

A PDF of the guide, about 60 pages, for $14.99 plus any sales tax that applies where you are. Tax, if any, is added as its own line at checkout and shown on your receipt.

Payment is by card, through Stripe. We never see or store your card number, and we do not store your IP address.

When your payment goes through you can download the guide straight away, and we email you a link as well. Each link works 5 times over 30 days. If you need it again after that, ask for a new link on the guide's page with the email address you bought it with, and we send a fresh one. A new link replaces the old one.

The file you download is yours to keep. The link is only how it gets to you.

Your copy has your name on it

Every copy is made for the person who bought it. Each page carries a line at the bottom with your name and the email address you gave us, saying the copy is licensed to you. We add it when you download the file. It is not hidden and it does not track anything: it is a printed line, and it is the reason we do not need to lock the file.

What you may do with it

This is a personal licence, for one person:

  • Read it, on any of your own devices, as often as you like.
  • Print it, or parts of it, for your own use. The worksheets and checklists are meant to be written on.
  • Use what it teaches to start and run your own club, including the sample wording, in your own words or in its words, for your own club.

What you may not do with it

  • Share the file, or a link to it, with anyone else. That includes posting it online, emailing it, putting it in a shared folder, or uploading it to a course, a group or a website.
  • Copy it for other people, in whole or in large parts, on paper or on screen.
  • Sell it, rent it, or give it away, or use it as part of something you sell.
  • Remove or cover the line with your name on it.

If a friend would find it useful, send them to the guide's page. That is how the author is paid for the work.

If we find a copy you have shared, we may stop sending you new links, and the author may enforce her copyright. We would much rather it never came to that.

Who owns it

Jennifer D. Ashford keeps the copyright in the guide: the words, the worksheets, the checklists and the layout. Buying a copy gives you this licence to use it, not ownership of the work. Nothing in these terms gives you the right to make a new version of the guide or to publish any part of it.

Refunds

If the guide is not for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying it and you get your money back, tax included, with no questions asked. Email support@goodpostco.com from the address you bought it with. We refund the card you paid with, and Stripe usually shows it on your statement within five to ten working days.

When we refund a copy, its download links stop working, and we will not send a new one for that purchase. If the file you were sent is broken, tell us at any time and we will fix it or refund you, whichever you prefer.

What we keep about you

The name and email you gave us, what you paid, the tax on it, when, and how many times you have downloaded your copy. We keep them as the record of the sale, which the tax rules require us to keep, and so we can send you a new link when you ask. The Privacy Policy explains the rest.

The rest of it

These terms, the Terms of Sale where they cover a purchase like this one, and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the guide. Where these terms and the Terms of Sale differ about the guide, these terms win.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Anything that has to go further than an email goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. Nothing here takes away a right you have as a consumer that cannot be taken away.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with the guide is limited to what you paid for it. The guide is advice from someone who has done it, not legal or tax advice for your situation.

We may change these terms for future purchases. The version you agreed to is recorded against your purchase, so what you agreed to on the day does not quietly change underneath you.
